Where players drop out

Players do not leave because the game is wrong. They leave because sign-up asked for a date of birth in a format the keypad could not produce, the age gate reset the whole form, the store page loaded the bundle art before the price, or the payment sheet failed silently on a mid-range Android. Your store reports the purchases that happened. It says nothing about the accounts that never finished being created. Air360 records the whole path from landing to first purchase, so a lost player has a screen attached to them.

What gaming teams do with it

Build the funnel across landing, sign-up, age verification, store and payment, find the step losing the most sessions, then watch the replays behind it. The causes tend to be mundane - a verification email step with no visible confirmation, a currency selector that resets the cart, a bundle page where the price sits below the fold on the most common screen size. Because interactions are captured automatically, you can compare traffic from a creator campaign against organic, or one platform against another, without instrumenting each one first.

Common questions

Where do players drop off during registration?

Sign-up and first purchase are usually the two steepest steps, and both are multi-stage. Air360 captures the whole flow automatically, so you can build a funnel across registration, verification and first transaction, see the drop-off at each stage, and open session replays from any step to watch what players actually hit.

How do I find the moments that frustrate players?

Session replays show you where players click repeatedly, backtrack or stall. Web Vitals and error monitoring run alongside, so a spike in abandonment can be traced to a slow page or a JavaScript error rather than assumed to be a design problem. Voice of Customer adds the players own words, and each response links back to the session it came from.

Can I analyse behaviour around a launch or a traffic spike?

Conversion rate performance can be measured across different timeframes, so you can compare a launch window against a normal week rather than looking at a blended average. Segmenting by campaign and by new against returning visitors separates the players a launch brought in from your existing base.

Can I compare acquisition campaigns by what players do after they arrive?

Yes. Funnels and journeys can be filtered by traffic source and campaign, so you can compare registration and first-purchase rates per campaign rather than judging acquisition on click-through alone. That usually reveals that the cheapest traffic is not the traffic that converts.
