Where fans lose momentum

Fans arrive ready to spend. They stop because the seat map would not zoom on a phone, the ticket type language assumed knowledge they did not have, the shirt printing options appeared after the size was already chosen, or the queue page gave no sense of how long the wait would be. Ticketing reports the seats you sold. It says nothing about the fans who got as far as choosing one. Air360 records the whole path from fixture page to confirmation, so a lost sale has a step attached to it.

What club teams do with it

Build the funnel across fixture, seat selection, ticket type and payment, find the step losing the most sessions, then watch the replays behind it. The causes are rarely about demand - a seat map that needs a pinch gesture nobody discovers, a members-only price that does not explain who qualifies, a shirt personalisation flow that loses the basket on the way back. Because interactions are captured automatically, you can compare a matchday spike against a quiet week, or members against general sale, without preparing for it.

Common questions

Why do fans drop off before completing a ticket purchase?

Ticketing flows compress a lot into a short window, seat selection, category, quantity, membership check and payment, often under time pressure. Air360 captures the whole flow automatically, so you can see the drop-off at each step and open the session replays behind it to watch where fans hesitated or hit a wall.

How do we spot problems during an on-sale?

Web Vitals and error monitoring run in real time next to the behavioural data, so a sudden fall in completed purchases can be checked against page performance and JavaScript errors straight away. Conversion rate performance can be measured over the specific window rather than blended into a weekly average.

Can I analyse ticketing and merchandise separately?

Yes. You can define a funnel per flow and compare them, so ticketing and retail are measured on their own terms rather than merged into one site-wide conversion number. Zoning analysis shows which parts of a matchday or shop page get attention.

Can I compare campaigns and markets?

Funnels and journeys can be filtered by traffic source, campaign, device, country, region, and new against returning visitors, which separates the fans a campaign brought in from your existing supporters and shows whether they behave differently.
